No it won't fit & the wheel won't work either.
Yours is full mux & the 99 one is pre mux or half mux.
Best bet is to source a Coupe wheel from 2002 onwards.
It's a straight fit, slightly smaller od, leather trimmed.

http://www.petrila.net/repair/index.htm Usually works for me. Has a full-mux diagrams with wire numbers etc. (You want section 60 "Protections, Openings etc.") Hi Doggy, Hope you're well? The link you put above, if I open it I can't understand it. Do you know how to get it in English? Cheers DDD.

Re: Looking for fancy bits
Firstly your last one must have been a SE & your new one a S Because the SE hand headlight washers & the S doesn't. Are you not a member of 406coupeclub.org ? If not you need to join there. Also Facebook groups there's at least four for the Coupe. You will struggle to get headlight protectors though...

Hi Dave,
No worries,
You'll have a very good marketplace on the Facebook Peugeot & 406 groups.
I wouldn't be so sure just on Facebook marketplace but list it there as well by all means.
As I said your car will have a smaller marketplace due to the petrol & auto.

Re: 406 V6 D8 Manual Gearbox ID
Ben, It is much better to retro fit the D9 slave assembly because the D8 isn't serviceable. I believe you can still get them from auto factors. Your box should be a ML5, why do you wish to rebuild it? If it's not had the oil changed or worse still has had the wrong oil put in it can make it horribl...

Pop over to the Coupe club forum, it's quite a bit more active than here & alot more info available
on the D8 V6's

Dave,
If you've not sold it & don't do Facebook I can list it on there for you if you like ?
What sort of price are you hoping for, it's low mileage but the petrol, auto will mean a smaller marketplace.

Re: Immobiliser fault
Dirtydirtydiesel kindly made the round trip to re-code the keys to the BSI for me so am really grateful to him. Wow, he came to your place and fixed the BSI? Cool! How did he re-code the keys to the BSI? Can that be done "simply" using PP2000? Or does it require unsoldering and reprogramming the BS...

Re: Remapped/unlocked ECU
Hi, I have sent you a PM about this, Basically the ECU can have ESP / ASR on or off depending on the vehicle it's fitted to. It's just a case of selecting on / off for the ESP / ASR in the ECU's configuration (this is done using pp2000) It doesn't affect anything to do with the ECU, you have not 'ta...

Hey
Thanks for the advice Wul.
We have tried a cloned BSi with no luck, I'm not paying out for a new one.
I plan on having a proper look at this when the day's get longer.

Re: Sits too high at the back?
So I purchased some 40mm Cobra lowering springs and have fitted the rear, already it looks so much better as it’s slightly more level! I’m not looking forward to doing the front as from what I gather it’s a bit of a ball ache! Until you fit the 40mm lower front springs then back to square one :wink...
